Means of transport Route description
By bus Line 302 from Metro C station Letňany directly to the chateau - Ctěnice stop (upon request)
Bus + walk Bus line 259, 375, 302 - from Metro C station Letňany to the bus stop Vinořský hřbitov. From there follow the yellow hiking path through the forest to the Ctěnice Chateau
By bike Free parking at the chateau
Bike racks are at your disposal. They are embedded in plaster and each holder has a loop to lock your bike to. Ctěnice are without a doubt a popular destination for bike trips and bikers comprise about 80 percent of our visitors.
By car Free parking at the chateau
- on the old road from Prague to Mladá Boleslav, go from Prosek to Kbely and on to Vinoř, along the Vinoř chateau (Mladoboleslavská street), in Vinoř turn and follow the signs to Chateau Ctěnice (Bohdanečská street)
- from Praha-Čakovice, past the Globus supermarket, direction Vinoř, Kbely, Přezletice, at the crossroads follow the signs to Chateau Ctěnice

On the premises of the Chateau you can find a riding school, babysitting, the chateau park (open from 10am - 7pm on chateau opening days and a carriage museum). The chateau is surrounded by a vast forest.

Exposition:

Chateau: "In the Times of the Kaiser - The Habsburgs in Bohemia"

There are more than 300 exhibits (paintings, weapons, targets, statuettes, pipes, etc.) and two moving dioramas. On the ground floor an exhibition shows the history and reconstruction of the chateau and the history as well as contemporary times in Vinoř.

Carriage museum

Historical carriages from the 18th to 20th centuries are on display in the outlying buildings of the chateau. This display was made possible by courtesy of the Prague Archbishopric, the Postal Museum, the National Technical Museum, the National Museum of Agriculture and the Prague City Museum.

Weddings:

Wedding ceremonies can be arranged on the premises.
